  14.     I would love a copy of your technical note.  Please send it as a disk file
  15. to MacDTS.  Also, I know Apple technical support, namely myself, should have
  16. provided this technical note before you.  Unfortunately, I can only say that in
  17. the interest of completeness I will be waiting until the end of this month to
  18. write new technotes about the printer drivers.  Specifically, there are more
  19. problems with 5.0 than just the ones you describe, and I want them all listed
  20. along with any safe workarounds.

  22.     One last thing, your technical note does not list the option of sending the
  23. PixMap to the LaserWriter using PostScriptHandle PicComments and the PostScript
  24. 'image' operator.  There is a compatible way of sending the PostScript to
  25. LaserWriters, and the depth-converted Quickdraw image to ImageWriters.  This
  26. may not be the fastest method, but it is the highest quality, and since it's
  27. completely compatible with the current Print Manager, why not list it?
